What are the Gorey Awards ?
The Gorey Business & Endeavour awards are brought by Gorey Business Network to recognise the achievements of People, Clubs, Organisations and Businesses in the Gorey Area.
1, Nominations
Our community nominate the people and businesses in the North Wexford area who they feel deserve notoriety under 19 categories. Nominations are open for 4 / 5 weeks each year.
2, Short List
Our judges review the nominations and Shortlist the nominees for the public voting stage.
3, Voting
Voting is opened to the public via GoreyAwards.com to pick their choice across the 19 categories.
4, Judging
Our panel of business owners will decide the final winner of each category after the public vote. The judges look over the merits of each possible Winner looking at various aspects of their BIO and background etc and review the public votes.
5, Promotion
All during the year we help promote Gorey and the businesses & people that help our community grow. Website, Social Media have a huge reach and we capture that audience well.
6, Awards Night
Our awards night was held on Saturday
31st January 2026
in the Amber Springs Hotel
Countdown to the 2026 Gorey Awards Ceremony.
