Our awards are divided into 2 sections.
- The awards are a public nominated vote using GoreyAwards.com
- The public cast their nominations for each category that they wish to see put forward for shortlisting.
- Nominations are accepted for multiple categories across both Business & Endeavour headings.
- If time permits the shortlist is published online for voting.
- The votes are then closed, tallied and the judges meet to review each category and choose an overall Winner for each.
- The Judges decision is final.
- The results are then delivered at the ceremony event and online live on the night.

Endeavour Awards
Person of the Year
This is for the Person the Public feel deserves to be recognised for their work or participation in local life in North Wexford.
Charity of the year
This awards is for a registered Charity that works to help others in North Wexford
Sports Achievement
A person who has gained some sporting achievement that should be highlighted. There are no age restrictions
Community Group
This is for a Group or Association working in the North Wexford area to help the local community. Types of groups can be Residence Associations, Tidy Towns, Men's Shed, Heritage groups etc
Lifetime Achievement
This popular award is a voters favourite and will bring to the forefront names of people that might have been always in the background of clubs, associations or families in the North Wexford area that are held in high esteem.

Overall Business of the year
This is for the Business the Public feel deserves to be recognised for their contribution to the commerce of Gorey and the surrounding area.
Best Place to Work
A business the staff feel is the best place to work for atmosphere, work / life balance, working conditions, etc
Customer Service
This Award is for the business that the public feels gives the best Customer experience in either Retail, Hospitality or Service sector.
Family Business
This Award is for the best family run business that the public wishes to to be recognised for their hard work.
